Files and paragraph text
Your Word file stays on your computer. Extracted paragraph text goes through the DocReady server to DeepSeek. DocReady does not save your paragraph text or results. DeepSeek’s data policy applies.
Your session
Slide text, results and review settings stay in memory until you clear the review or leave this page.
Your language choice and any personal DeepSeek key you choose to save are kept in this browser.
A secure cookie keeps private access active for up to seven days. It contains no lesson text. The original file, file name, images, speaker notes and document metadata are not sent to the AI service.
Personal DeepSeek keys
If you choose to save your own API key, DocReady stores it in this browser on this device until you remove it or clear this site’s browser data. It is not linked to your email profile. Anyone using the same browser profile can use it. Save keys only on your own computer.
Your key passes through the Hong Kong server to DeepSeek over HTTPS for connection tests and reviews. DocReady does not save it on the server or include it in usage records or logs. Browser storage is not a secure vault: malicious code on this site or access to your browser profile could expose it. Personal-key failures do not switch to the school account.
Server and AI service
DocReady runs on a Hong Kong server. The server handles extracted text in memory and does not write paragraph text or results to files or logs. The server stores its settings, secrets and HTTPS certificates. It keeps limited operational logs. DeepSeek is a separate service; its data policy applies. This is not a promise that no data is stored anywhere.
Approved school emails
DocReady stores approved school email addresses and their access profiles in its private database. It uses the address you enter to grant access and record usage totals. It does not send a verification email or check that you own the address. These records identify an address or access profile, not a verified person.
Approved emails remain until the administrator removes or deletes them. Removing approval stops access. Deleting an email profile also removes its identifying history. Email addresses are not sent to DeepSeek with slide text. Contact Leo to ask about access or deletion.
Invite usage records
The administrator assigns a name to each invite. DocReady records review dates, slide counts, request outcomes, token totals and estimated AI cost for that code. A forwarded link counts under the same name. These totals show activity, not teaching quality.
Daily totals are kept for 365 days and individual request records for 30 days. Invite names remain until the administrator deletes them. File names, slide text and suggestions are not stored in these records. Contact Leo to ask about your records. DeepSeek’s own data policy also applies.
